Welcome to BS AutoShine. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile car valeting and detailing services ("Services") provided by BS AutoShine ("we", "us", or "our"), a UK-based business operating in Essex.

By booking our services, accessing our website, or contacting us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Services

BS AutoShine provides professional mobile car valeting and detailing services, including but not limited to:

  • Mini Valet services
  • Exterior cleaning and detailing
  • Interior cleaning and vacuuming
  • Full valet packages
  • Additional services as agreed upon

We operate within our designated service area in Essex, UK. Service availability is subject to scheduling and location.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking

Bookings can be made via phone, WhatsApp, email, or through our website. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.

3.2 Pricing

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices may vary based on vehicle size, condition, and specific service requirements. We reserve the right to adjust prices, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.

3.3 Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments. Payment must be made in full before we leave the service location, unless a credit arrangement has been agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

4.1 Customer Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost. No-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged the full service fee.

4.2 Our Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer to reschedule at no additional cost.

5. Service Requirements

5.1 Vehicle Access

You must provide safe and legal access to your vehicle at the agreed location and time. You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is unlocked and accessible. If we cannot access the vehicle, a cancellation fee may apply.

5.2 Vehicle Condition

Please inform us of any existing damage, special conditions, or concerns before we begin. We will take reasonable care, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects. We may refuse service if a vehicle poses a safety risk or is in an unsanitary condition.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Our Liability

We are fully insured and take every reasonable precaution to protect your vehicle. However, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage or defects
  • Damage caused by faulty vehicle components
  • Loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle
  • Consequential or indirect losses

6.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for removing all personal items and valuables from your vehicle before service. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.

7. Guarantees and Complaints

7.1 Service Guarantee

We strive to provide excellent service. If you are not satisfied with our work, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer a re-service or partial refund at our discretion.

7.2 Complaints Procedure

If you have a complaint, please contact us immediately via phone, email, or WhatsApp. We will respond within 48 hours and work to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

8. Photography and Marketing

We may take photographs of your vehicle before and after service for our portfolio and marketing purposes. Photographs will not include your vehicle registration number or personal information.

9. Health and Safety

We are committed to maintaining high health and safety standards. Our team uses appropriate personal protective equipment and follows safe working practices. Please inform us of any health concerns or allergies that may affect our service.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or equipment failure.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of BS AutoShine and is protected by UK copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our written permission.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you are a consumer, you have the right to:

  • Receive services performed with reasonable care and skill
  • Services that are fit for purpose and as described
  • Services completed within a reasonable time

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via our website or email. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
